The Ignite Howard County event itself cannot be a for-profit event. As such, any profits generated will be given back to the non-profit community to fund new, innovative, feasible projects that aim to make Howard County a better place to live and work, live and play.

When speakers apply to present, they will be asked to identify their favorite non-profit in Howard County. Based on the speakers – and therefore non-profits selected – attendees will nominate the non-profit that will receive the profits from each event.
